Wupatki National Monument is eight miles east of the Little Colorado River. Still standing are the
North Box and South Box Canyon Pueblos, and the Lomaki Pueblo. The Indians lived here about
1250 AD were here for about 150 years, believed to be the ancestors of the Hopi and Zuni Indians.
